Latvia University of Agriculture in Jelgava

Between 24 and 29 April 2017, I went to Latvia, together with Grzegorz and Magdalena. We went there in the frame of Erasmus Mobility For Teaching.

We visited the Latvia University of Agriculture in Jelgava (LV JELGAVA01), Faculty of Economics and Management, where I gave lectures on the topics:

  1. Introduction to key issues of logistics and supply chain management
  2. Logistics as a crucial part of a modern company
  3. Logistics services
  4. Modes of transport
  5. Warehousing and storage.
  6. The program contained the presentation of the Faculty of Management, the field of studies, the field of research and cooperation with the economy.

We had the opportunity to visit Jalgava Palace. Jelgava Palace (Latvian: Jelgavas pils) is the largest Baroque-style palace in the Baltic states. It was built in the 18th century based on the design of Bartolomeo Rastrelli as a residence for the Dukes of Courland.

During the way to Riga we found the Automotive museum.

The next days we visited Riga.
