About My Course „Excel in the enterprise”

The course consists of 8 modules with many tasks and 16 screencasts. The individual stages of the course were carried out by means of film recordings, multimedia presentations, audio recordings and text messages showing the performance of each activity during the task in Excel. Data for tasks were shared on the training platform in the form of attached files.
The student had to answer questions related to the acquired knowledge after each lesson and each module. They received feedback on whether he answered correctly.
To pass The courses nad get the certificate you need to gain at least 51% of total points.

Project The University as a Creator of SME Staff Competences

The Excel in the Enterprise course was a part of the „University as a creator of SME staff competencies” project (POWR.03.01.00-00-W021 / 18 – MOOC courses).

MOOC courses are mass, open and online courses. Faculty of Management of the UTP University of Science and Technology in Bydgoszcz implemented this project in the period October 2019-July 2021 on the NAVOICA platform: https://navoica.pl.

The project was co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund, the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program for 2014-2020, III Higher education for economy and development, 3.1 Competences in higher education.

Support under the project was directed to:

entrepreneurs and their employees from the SME sector,
other candidates, including students, unemployed and economically inactive people and potential entrepreneurs interested in acquiring knowledge and skills in the scope of the courses offered.

Classes in the period from 12 March 2021 to 21 July 2021 were conducted in Polish and English in 6 areas:

Effective Communication and Team Management, version PL.
Author: Prof. Rafał Drewniak. The course deals with the basics of team management and running a company.
Quality Management in the Enterprise, version PL. Author: M.Sc. Urszula Słupska. The course enriches the knowledge of the methods and tools of quality management. It also helps to acquire analytical skills in the application of selected methods and quality management tools in specific areas of the company’s operations.
Financial Management for Non-Financiers, version PL. Author: PhD Anna Michalska. The course provides knowledge and skills in the field of corporate financial management. Participants learn about the methods of managing working capital, determining the cost of capital or assessing the risk of enterprise bankruptcy.

The general objective of our course is to acquire practical knowledge and skills in the use of a spreadsheet to solve typical and non-standard tasks and computational problems occurring in business processes in SMEs. The specific goals are:
- Acquiring basic skills in handling the sheet,
- Use of built-in Excel functions and advanced calculations,
- Using Excel to solve common problems in small and medium-sized enterprises.

Authors: PhD Małgorzata Zajdel, PhD Małgorzata Michalcewicz. The course provides knowledge about the essence of project management and allows you to increase your skills and competencies in the application of selected project management methods tailored to the specifics and scope of activity of an organization/enterprise.
Modern Marketing and Own Online Store, version PL.
Author: Prof. Małgorzata Gotowska. The course participants will learn the basic issues of contemporary internet marketing and marketing. After completing the course, they will also acquire practical skills in designing an online store in the area of product strategy planning, sales strategy and online store operation security.
