Day of Foreign Languages

2022

On 20 October 2022 students of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology, staying in our city thanks in the frame of the Erasmus+ program, visited The Group of Technical Chemical School in Bydgoszcz, as part of the Day of Foreign Languages.

Nigerian Ibrahim Hayatu and three Turks: Guslum Yuksel, Suleyman Emre Mizirak and Kenan Aslan, who studied at the Faculty of Management, told students about their countries, interesting customs, the most important holidays, traditional dishes, and the most important tourist attractions.

The meeting was held in English, and its participants not only listened to the presentations prepared by the guests, but also had the opportunity to ask questions.
The greatest interest was aroused by Ibrahim, who visited our school dressed in traditional national costume, despite the autumn cold, wearing slippers on his bare feet appropriate for the whole outfit.

2021/2022

On 4 April 2022, the Group of Technical Chemical School in Bydgoszcz hosted students of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology from the Erasmus + exchange program together with the department coordinator, Dr. Marek Sikora. Konstantinos Kousioris introduced the tourist attractions of Greece and talked about the cuisine of this country.

Arief Fedillah Abidin acquainted students with the meanders of the linguistic and political structure of Belgium and finally Cihan Nart showed everyone the beauty of Indonesia by tempting them with low prices of tourist attractions (it is a pity that airline tickets are so expensive).

Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology students also told about their impressions from their stay in Poland, and students had the opportunity to improve their English by asking them questions.

In the end, the students received thunderous applause and commemorative certificates.

In the end, the lucky ones could taste the traditional Greek pastry with a coin inside. Unfortunately, the coin went missing for good in the dough and no one could enjoy happiness throughout the year.
